Utilita Giving Welcomes New Delivery Partner IncomeMax to Help Tackle Fuel and Food Poverty

Utilita Giving is proud to announce a new partnership with IncomeMax, an organisation dedicated to improving financial wellbeing. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our mission to support individuals and families across England, Scotland, and Wales who are struggling with fuel and food poverty.

As part of this partnership, IncomeMax will work alongside Utilita Giving to deliver our pilot initiative, One Call, That’s All (OCTA). Developed in response to the lived experiences of people facing fuel and food poverty and the systemic barriers to support, OCTA is designed to transform how help is delivered – offering dignified, holistic, and personalised assistance through a single point of contact.

At the heart of OCTA is a clear ambition: that people supported no longer live with fuel and food poverty. Together, Utilita Giving and IncomeMax will provide immediate relief from the strain of hardship, enable households to take steps to improve their situation, and support people to feel more confident in managing their fuel and food costs both now and in the future. Importantly, OCTA also helps restore hope – ensuring that families can look ahead with greater optimism and security.

By co-producing these outcomes, Utilita Giving and IncomeMax will extend the reach of this pilot – transforming lives one call at a time. Together, we’ll ensure even more households can access the support they need, so that no one has to face hardship alone.

“We’re delighted to welcome IncomeMax as our new delivery partner. Their experience and their commitment to supporting vulnerable people will make a real difference to the people we serve. By working together, we can extend our reach and provide life‑changing support to those who need it most.”

- Helen Boardman, Executive Director at Utilita Giving

"Our partnership with Utilita Giving on the One Call, That’s All (OCTA) service reflects what we value most: collaboration, innovation, and meaningful outcomes for customers. By providing a simple route to practical money advice and income support, OCTA is helping households affected by fuel and food poverty to get the right help when they need it most. We are proud to play a key role in this important mission."

- Leigh Thompson, Director of Services at IncomeMax CIC

This partnership forms part of Utilita Giving’s ongoing work to build strong, community‑focused collaborations with organisations who share our vision: a future where people no longer live with fuel and food poverty.
