Following Credit Week - where our Executive Director, Helen Boardman, spoke about the lasting impact of One Call, That’s All - we’re thrilled to announce that the pilot has just received national recognition at the Energy Awards 2025!
One Call, That’s All is a transformative pilot service conceived and designed by Helen and commissioned by Utilita Giving. The approach reflects our commitment to supporting people out of fuel and food poverty long-term. It was built on a simple but radical principle: that people should only have to tell their story once to access the personalised, transformative support they need - whether that’s food, fuel, income maximisation or debt relief.
We are funded by Utilita Energy, and we're proud that with their support we have gained national recognition. Utilita Energy's Extra Care Team have worked tirelessly to refer their customers into OCTA, and their role has been integral in helping us to reach hundreds of vulnerable households.
Because of OCTA, hundreds of people have unlocked financial support they were entitled to but had never claimed. From increased income and debt relief to food, fuel, and essential household items - the impact is real and wide-reaching.
Tom is one of many individuals we’ve supported over the past 7 months to boost their income, write off unaffordable debt, and access both financial and material aid at a time of crisis. Learn about Tom's story, here.
