One Call, That’s All: Launching a Lifeline

On 19th September 2024, we proudly held our launch event for our pilot service, One Call, That’s All - a bold new initiative that will support 6,000 people out of fuel and food poverty over a two year period.

The launch event brought together an inspiring group of charity leaders, industry experts, and passionate advocates, all united by a shared mission: to tackle poverty with urgency, compassion, and collaboration. The energy in the room was electric, with thought-provoking discussions and insightful contributions from every corner.

Some of the Utilita Giving staff team and Trustees, Patrons Adam Scorer and David James MBE, with funder and CEO of Utilita Energy, Bill Bullen

We’re incredibly grateful to our delivery partner Auriga Services, and to our guest speakers who brought expertise and impact to the day:

Helen Greig, representing our learning partner Trust Impact

Adam Scorer, Chief Executive of National Energy Action

Helen Barnard, Director of Policy, Research & Impact at Trussell

Their perspectives, along with the voices of many others in the room, reminded us why this work matters - and how much more we can achieve together.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the launch. We’re excited for what lies ahead and remain committed to making a meaningful difference, one call at a time.
