Matchday Takeover - Sunderland AFC

Football and community came together in full force at our recent Utilita Giving matchday takeover with Sunderland AFC, raising vital support for people in crisis.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of fans and players alike, we collected 563 donated meals and raised £1,231 in support of Utilita Giving and our local partners at County Durham and Sunderland Foodbank.

The day was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when sport and social purpose unite. From food donations to fundraising efforts, every contribution helped drive our mission forward: to support people out of fuel and food poverty not just today, but for the long term.
